R1Soft Providers
Currently I am debating between Gigenet's and iWeb's R1Soft CDP backup solution.
Is anyone here able to give some insight or testimonials on any of these providers for R1Soft backups?
Or are there any other recommendations for R1Soft providers?
Thanks!

I suggest JaguarPC, they are very affordable. If you use a LOT of disk space they can get you a dedicated server with LOTS of space and a r1soft license for cheap.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll check out JaguarPC. For some reason I found it difficult to find R1Soft providers.

They also sell licenses for $180 a month for their dedicated servers. If you contact their sales department they can get you a good deal on high-disk space servers.

Make sure you try the restore feature before you put your trust into R1Soft - it is notorious for not working as advertised.

Why not just get the R1 Software and run it on your own servers?
Would it not be allot more cost effective?

Thanks for the advice. We currently already utilize rsync off-site backups which seem to do fine.

R1Soft's CDP is great software, we're rolling it out for our shared/reseller customer backups next week.

We are testing R1Soft at the moment too and will probably roll it out for resellers, VPS, dedicated and colo clients across Australia, UK and the USA. Be interested to hear if anyone is using this for a big setup with offsite backups to offshore locations.

We already have R1Soft CDP backups in place where all of our servers are backed up on our CDP backup servers and it is working great with very good reliability and decent performance.

I've decided to go with GigeNet. Thanks everyone for the contributions to this thread. Much appreciated! We may be considering to go with multiple providers to offer multiple off-site backup locations in the future so the contributions made to this thread will serve useful to me in the future.
Thanks again
