I've been with Virpus in the past and they've been fairly good, however now they're absolutely terrible.
I ordered a VDS about a week ago, took them 4 days to set it up because he was 'out of office' -- I had filed a dispute. After it was delivered, it's been experiencing severe IP issues, always denied by them until today. My domains resolve sometimes.. other times they resolve to a default page displaying their website "TekDB.net"'s logo.
I've been assigned strange IP's also -- *.100, *.128, and *.187.
Why not sequential..?
I've also asked Ken multiple times on AIM to adjust my invoice to a later date as it's taking almost a week to deliver it properly.. all ignored.
the IP issue could be that other people claimed the IPs sequentially and he was just trying to use everything up in the 10x or 12x or 18x series...you'd have to ask him for that
and about the invoice due date issue, have you tried submitting a ticket or something? AIM isn't the most reliable way to do billing stuff (we never deal with billing stuff over instant message or live chat due to high risk of impersonation)
I was using them for backups in the past (same datacenter as us). But after the past few months of service I'm done too. I defended them for a while, but these days I just can't. Tickets take a week to be answered and the node is constantly having issues. Hopefully Ken will get things back on track.
