Not trying to steal thunder from this thread, but this question begs an answer

How can i become a registrar? please help
    http://www.icann.org/en/registrars/a...financials.htm

    To ICANN:
US$2,500 non-refundable application fee, to be submitted with application.
US$4,000 yearly accreditation fee due upon approval and each year thereafter.
    etc
    etc
    etc

    You must have:
US$70,000 in working capital requirement. (note that you only need this on hand, you don't give it to icann)
    etc
    etc

It's not cheap, but it is possible.

Hey guys - DNGeeks has pretty much covered most of it. Just filling in the gaps, and providing below a snapshot of the financial requirements when applying for an ICANN Accreditation:

    - ICANN Application fee: US$2,500 (payable at the time of application, this fee is non-refundable)

    - ICANN Annual Fee: US$4,000 (payable at the start of every accreditation year, can also be paid in equal quarterly installments)

    - ICANN variable Fee: US$1,500 to US$4,500 (to be paid in quarterly installments)

    - ICANN Per domain fee: US$0.18 (payable to ICANN at the end of every quarter)

    - $1m CGL Insurance policy premium: US$500 to US$1,500

    - Additionally, the US$ 70,000 working capital requirement is not something that you need to pay ICANN. It's only so that they know that the applicant has the financial strength/backing to raise this amount if required.
