    * Im Banking With Wells Fargo.......

I just opened an account with Wells Fargo and they seem to be great. I use to bank with WaMu then they were bought out by Chase and then i hated some of the change's they made. So i figured id move over to Wells Fargo and test out the change. I love the feature's it come's with for example bill pay which is great and also the option to upload a pic to the Wells Fargo website and request a debit card etc be sent with that picture on it. I also talked the sale's men into giving me some type of commision if i refer customer's to them and for this specific locaton and of course to him only he said sure he'd give me a $10.00 gas card per customer so i simply referd some one allready and got me a nice $10.00 gas card im loving it :p

Anyone else bank with them? What's your thought's? Any bad expeirence's? If so how did you/them deal with them?

Wells unfortunately doesn't have any banking locations in northeast ohio, so they're not an option for me.

I am pretty happy with Chase though, but all I ask is that my debit card works when I try to use it so it's not that hard to please me.

Lets see.. I've had Nextier.. sky bank.. Huntington bank... USAA bank (only in San Antonio?)... now I have PNC.. and don't mind PNC.

What sucks is.. they like to do highest to lowest, and if you make a lot of transactions, you know what i am talking about.. its horrible. Although, it happened a few times with me in PNC so far.. and they were nice about it and refunded the over draft charges.. so I can't complain.

Example: I have $3 in my account, I deposit $20 cash INSIDE, I spend $21 a few hours later to order a pizza (example..) i get a $35 over draft charge, at the end of the day, they do the transactions highest to lowest..

    Banks are evil.

    USBank gets my vote.

I tried National City, they have ATM's everywhere here but they charged way to much for Wire Transfers which I happen to do often.

National City is no longer going to be national city in a few months, going to be PNC.

I never used them because as others have said, they're nowhere to be found in NE Ohio.

The only banks I've used were Home Savings and Bank 1 (now Chase).

I'm from Pittsburgh so I've had a PNC account, but I closed it because it can't compare to National City. I love love love National City and am disappointed that PNC is buying it. Mainly, I love the fact that cash deposits are available immediately and that all check deposits are available by the next morning. If the check later bounces they will take the money out of your account (at least I presume, never happened to me), but they assume you're good for it so they'll give you the funds immediately. It's so handy!

I'm just bummed they're going to become PNC. When I had a PNC account, checks would sometimes take a week to clear. I understand this is how most banks do it, but after National City I just can't handle it.

Same here. . Chase has modified some of the great features Wamu offered. But, I've been banking with them for many years now and they do treat you well.

PNC does it in 1 or 2 days for local checks, and 3 days for out of state checks, i cash about 20 checks per week. BTW, what part of Pittsburgh you from? I live north of butler, but go to ITT in greentree (Transferring to a real college in spring though.. poor decision to go to ITT)
