    Web hosting review

    hi, i'm working on my blog about webhosting review, i wanna ask about what tests should be done for reviewing the webhosting provider? i mean as technically. now i'm currently running 2 kind of test for the review:

    pull from webhosting to IX server and webhosting to IIX server
    push from IX server to webhosting and IIX server to webhosting

    i'm also include whois and cpanel screenshot for the result, thx.

    Check the support ticket response times, the uptime, server load, general attitude of the staff and the service you're getting.

    yes that'll be include 3 or 4 days after i'm having the account bro, for the first performance testing, anymore suggestion?

    Yes, make sure you test the server speed aswell, from different locations.

    Also, it's best if your host speaks proper English , as well as having good grammar. That way, you'll understand them more, and they'll understand you more.

    Those might be good things to check.

    good idea mate, speed test from different location, but for me, i have to buy more servers in different locations for running the test, i have to spend more money for my blog i'll do that slowly from now, hehe...

    If you would like to know how fast a web host is, the better way is to find a website that’s hosted on the web host instead of the web host’s website. Download a few files and wandering around the website should reveal what’s the web host response rate.

    I think the only way for you to test web hosting company's is to actually purchase web hosting from them. Once you have purchased the web hosting then you will want to try and 'break it'. Upload warez, porn, send support tickets, billing tickets - anything you can think of. Then once you have first hand experience it will be much easier for you to obtain a solid blog post about that company.

    If you can verify the support ticket response times and not just provided to you, that will be a very helpful information.
