    directadmin exim problem sending mails

    Hello ,
I recently got a server from leaseweb with directadmin on it , I have a big problem sending e-mails .
Most of my e-mails remains in queue :
Is there any way to check why the e-mail stays on queue , any log file i can read ?
Is there any way to fix the problem ?

can i get my e-mails using imap ?

Do you have 'deliver_queue_load_max set' in '/etc/exim.conf' ?

You could try commenting out the 'deliver_queue_load_max set' option in exim.conf, or setting it much higher (say, 10 or 20), restart Exim using the 'service exim restart' command, and see if that improves things.

As for the log files, your exim log files should be located in the '/var/log/exim' directory.

IMAP service should be enabled by default. You can test IMAP connection with :

    telnet localhost 143

To get emails using IMAP, simply set the email account to be accessible via IMAP in your mail client.

    mail logs: /var/log/exim/
Or you can go to DA, click to messages to see the reasons

Try to check the mail logs by using the command,

    #tail -f /var/log/exim_mainlog

It's not correct. As mentioned above, in DA system, mail logs in /var/log/exim/ folder, so if you want to check mainlog, it will be /var/log/exim/mainlog

Your server name setup seems not correct. You should have someone to check it.
