Managed VPS Recommendation (Somewhat Heavy Resources)
Hi there,
I'm looking for a managed linux VPS with the following specs....
- About 70 GB disc space
- About 500+ GB bandwidth
- Excellent support
- Good uptime/reliability record
- Budget = around $75/month
I would prefer a somewhat known provider, not a one man fly-by-night operation...
Thanks for any recommendations!

Knownhost.com +1 Fast Support, #1 Record Holder on Uptime, and Should match your budget. O and they are managed if you get a control panel.

I assume you want cPanel as well? Your budget should be OK depending on how many RAM you require, you didn't state that. You could look at WiredTree, Futurehosting, KnownHost who all get a good rap on here. You can check out the offers forum for deals also. Good luck
Exceptional VPS Hosting. With love, 6sync.

Diskspace may be a bit high but if you just want the larger established players I would say:
Knownhost
Servint
Wiredtree

Some good suggestions made here. You can also find a ton of offers in the VPS offers section.

I got my Xen VPS's at Linode.com
64GB
1440MB RAM
800GB traffic
at 79.95 month
A very good alternative, if you know your way around without cPanel or Plesk. You can always install control panel yourself.

Ah, sorry missed the 'Managed' part - sorry, guys.
Nope, Linode is not a good alternative then.

One managed alternative is the liquidweb. They have some VPSs as well, though my experience is limited with their dedicated servers only. Their support worked really well, but network connections to Europe where troublesome at the time.
