Ok, I am somewhat confused on what kind of SSL Certificate I need.
I have a backbone domain I run all my billing and helpdesk software one. With this domain I also use it as the server hostname (I think that's what it's called, I am kind of tired) and for my email system as well. It's the abbreviation of my website domain just as a .us TLD that is only 4 characters long.
If I did billing.bhds.us, what kind of SSL Certificate would I need? I think I just want to have the SSL on my billing area and not my helpdesk or anything of that nature. So it would be https://billing.bhds.us and that is it.
If I can get away with buying a single SSL Certificate instead of a wildcard SSL Certificate that would be best, $29.99 is a lot more appealing than $199.99.....
Why not buy Rapid SSL for $9.95/year, available at Enom
