    Australian Servers?

    G'day!!

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a host with AUSTRALIAN based servers (actual server in Australia)? Seems theres alot of Australian BASED companies (with servers in US) but not many actually in Australia.

So, care to recommend someone with an Australian server?

    Cheers

There are plenty of Australian hosts with Australian based servers. You should visit http://webhostingtalk.com.au if you are after Australian hosting.

    Hi,

If you are looking for a Australian host with Australian Based servers then the best option for you would be to host with Hostnetworks.
They are one of the best & reliable service providers and they do have a good support too.

    Their website would be http://www.hostnetworks.com.au/

    Regards,
    Juno David

As stated, webhostingtalk.com.au does have most of the above stated listed, however would also denote that any mass spamming, ddos, etc, will eat up bw in short time, given the in/out combined and not counted 1 way.

This has nothing to do with the ppl or offerings, however that you "can" be caught out by this, hence why the .us market is offered by many as an alternative.

Another alternative is to utilise two business connections with dual wan and at least utilise own hardware, dont accumulate additional expenses, and can tell you that are some well named companies in Australia doing this verses dc hosting.
