    Looking for metered EU gigabit

    Hello,

I've been scouring the offers section for quite a while, however I've been unable to find an EU based provider that offers gigabit connections with a reasonable amount of bandwidth.

Any advice on the matter would be greatly appreciated

What ist your budget and what is your understanding of "reasonable"...

    "Reasonable" would be > 8tb.

I stumbled upon 10tb.com, however they only appear to accept the 4 major US credit cards.

what would you using the bandwidth for?

bandwidth will certainly not be an issue with most providers - which infrastructure would you put into the DC?

Leaseweb (click on build your own server) , i3d.net, server.lu (you can order dedicated 100mbps unmetered for $199), ovh.com (but accepts only orders from certain countries in europe)

They accept the worldwide cards Mastercard, Visa, and American Express.

I'm not sure if EU providers will accept a much greater range.

IMHO, any EU provider should be able to provide you with a GigE port if you explain them the use of it - due to spam and dos attacks

From what I've seen, 10tb would be the most reliable product for my needs. Most UK based hosting costs the earth and has 12/18/24 month contract restrictions.

OVH isn't GigE outbound, and from my past experiences with them they have horrible support when things go wrong (server was capped at 500kb/s upstream from day one and they did nothing about it). Leaseweb and i3d have very long setup times from what I hear. server.lu has horrible support from what I hear and the connections are shared mostly by torrent users, so no thanks .

Probably via PayPal. Nothing personal, however I don't trust online companies with my credit details directly.
