What do you need so many IP's for? I highly doubt you will find a host with those requirements for such a little amount of money.

You're pretty much paying for IPs only then? How much is minimal bandwidth and disk space for you?

Dedicated providers can charge $1-$2/month each per IP address.

You'll need to raise your budget IMHO.

It seems to me you had a good thing going with your last hosting company. Most host charge round about $1.99 for a IP address.

Yes we have seen an increase of requests from Asian countries for plans with multiple IP addresses.

And just what has Asia in particular got to do with it?

Lot of spam originates from Asia. We use to get a lot of Russian spam until we changed around our SpamAssassin settings to only accept messages in English. You would be suprised by the amount of spam coming from there.

In my experience most spamming comes from Asia. I think it's actually legal in China too.

nq4virtual.com for example. i have an account there and well satisfied, but need more

1gb/month bandwidth and 1mb space will be enough

it's not for spam, i need it for search engines.

Very interesting read for sure - not as big as shutting McColo down but still.

I think you may have interpreted the post wrong - had they said "I think Asia is the problem" that would be one thing but they were simply stating they had increased requests for accounts with multiple IPs *from Asia* which is simply an observation of their incoming requests No stereotyping that I can see at least.

no decent company would provide you service like that. they will be losing money on the ips alone.

IP's will set you back a minimum of $1 - $1.50 per month so any "company" offering multiple IPs and a hosting account for $2 a month will be running at a loss. I am guessing thats why your last host went south

Actually - it was because they were a haven for spammers & botnet command & controls ...

But yeah - you're not going to find a deal like that with any sort of reputable provider.
