hi, wanna ask for reseller hosting suggestion

hi all, i'm just registered here, but i've been watching this forum for about 6 month, just walking around for webhosting, hehe...

anyway i wanna ask for hosting that can give reseller package like this:

    space : bandwidth = 1 : 50 or 1 : 100

because most of reseller's packages are 1 : 10 between space and bandwidth, and also could you please recommend me for the webhosting that trustable, reliable, not oversold, and also quick response in replying the ticket, at least you have been with them for 6 month or 1 year, hope will get the suggestion from you, thx all

    edit:

mod, please move my thread to reseller hosting section, i usually don't see the reseller's section because i'm unregistred user, now after i'm registered, it's suddenly appear thx!

    Something like:

    5GB Disk space
    1000GB Bandwidth

    10GB D.
    1500GB B.

    15GB D.
    2000GB B.

    40GB D.
    4000GB B.

This is not exactly like reseller hosting but you can use it like reseller hosting. The big difference is that you are not dependent on other users, since you got a guaranteed Memory available which starts at 512MB, and goes up to 2048 depending on your package.

I can’t say where you can get this solution because I am not advertising here but maybe you can take a look at some VPS packages. The bandwidth is more likely to be higher than on reseller packages.

yes, something like that bro, i'm choosing reseller because me and my friends agree that we're just this business and plan with selling webhosting, in the first time it would be not much client we have, so we're decide to take reseller than vps, also usually reseller packages include whmcs and maybe ssl for manage the client and order form

and the main reason is in my country, people more like huge bandwidth than huge space, even they just host a blog or website, probably they think huge bandwidth is more secure to prevent bandwidth limit, and i don't want to oversell the reseller, that's why im asking for suggestion the 1 : 50 or 1 : 100 reseller's package, maybe 1 : 40 is okay too

I would recommend checking the "Reseller Hosting Offers" section of the forum. There are lots of hosts available there that may meet your needs.

As for the 1:50 etc...no idea what you mean?

As you said most of the non oversold hosts have the size/bandwidth ratio 1:10. You can go maximum up to 1:20. Beyond that I am not sure whether it comes under non oversold package. So If you are looking for a reliable one it seems it is better to come down with in the reasonable limits. Best of luck.

hmm... just wanna ask for your personal opinion, with your experience in this business, i wanna ask you if someone sell the hosting packages with over than 1:10 or 1:20, do you think they are oversold? because me and my friends agree about different huge package and small package but with the same price, the huge one is oversold, but there's one webhosting provider in my country that have 1:100 with affordable price, and i trust them as i'm taking one of they package for my forum and they really good, so far never had any long downtime, just one or two downtime when there's hardware upgrade but no more than one hour

Well traffic is not at every country even expensive, plus the fact that some big providers have a own datacenter, so they can sell traffic very cheap. It doesn’t directly mean that it is oversold.

I would recommend that you be careful of packages that are too good to be true or are extremely oversold.

That was my personal opinion mate. I never compel you to stick with that. I don't want to say over selling is bad and all. But it should have a limit and proper management . That is the only concern; there are a number of hosts which do the overselling with out problems. Please go ahead with your requirements and if you are sure you can get your best provider there is nothing wrong. By the way what about your exact disk space requirement and budget?

I am sure a host can provide these specs within your budget; however, this is not an ordinary plan. Try sending a mass email to a bunch of reputable hosts to see what custom plans they can provide you with.

Your budget is good mate. Short-list some of the providers which are reliable. You can research here by finding reviews on them. Then ask them about the high bandwidth requirement.
