    Backup Cpanel users

Hello, I'm hoping one of you can help me . I have a server that requires to be upgraded.

I've decided i also want to move hosts. So with this being the case i need to take a backup of the current host [FTP,Datbases, mail etc..]. I need to then be able to reimport the backup onto the new host.

Reconfigure DNS'S etc and be away again.

Reason i can't use the cpanel migration tool is because i dont have the new server and cant pay for a day or so, but the old one expires soon.

You can still generate backups on the old server like so:

    for user in `ls /var/cpanel/users/`; do /scripts/pkgacct $user; done
This should store all of yours users' cpmove-<USER>.tar.gz in /home/ so you can transfer it to the new server using:

Or you can download it using WinSCP from your home computer after logging in as root.

You can restore a cpmove archive via:

    /scripts/restorepkg <user>

You should still be able to download the backups before the server expires, then reupload and restore them when the new server comes online.
