    Attracting members.

The best practice is to keep on producing authentic and quality content regularly.

1)Write up articles associated with your Software.
To get success in online business writing articles is very important Write articles related to your site and put your website address in the by-line. A lot of readers who like your article will start using your website.

2)One of the more unique ways is to add your forums to other people's websites. Link exchange is most important to obtain high PR to your site. Each incoming link to your web site can be considered as a vote. But avoid links to web spammers.

3)Post good and useful content in forums.

4)Add blog - Add a blog to your site & Submit your blog address to different blog search sites and directories.

5)Signature- Add your own web address to your forum profile signature. Each time you post or respond to questions, your ad will be displayed.

6)The main source of traffic to a site are the search engines, submit your site to search engines.

7)Create sitemap and upload to google webmaster interface. Submit a Sitemap using Google Webmaster Tools. Google uses your Sitemap to learn about the structure of your site

    8)Fix broken links

9)Make your site more search engine friendly.

10)Every page should be reachable from at least one static text link.

11)Use text browser such as Lynx to examine your site, if it works search engine will not have problem crawling your site.

12)Test your site in as many browsers as possible.

    13)Avoid Duplicate pages.

To get visitors attract to the your forum,
1)Start with simple.Make your forum easy to join and easy to look.
    2) Check the forum everyday for new visitors. When new users join or make their post, make sure to greet them and make them feel welcome and excited to get involved in your community discussion.
3)Create a good content. Write the content that are interesting and will
get conversion flowing, or hire someone to write it for you.
    4) Contribute. As a host, you should be an active presence on your board.
Make several post a day, reply to everyone and try to get conversation rolling.
Make sure there are always fresh topics on your board.
    5) Try to get some backlink. These are the links from others website to yours.
Find some others websites that are related to your Web community and approach
them to see if they would like to make a link exchange.

I think it's a great plan to hire posters that can write good content.
There is no best host. There is only the host that's best for you.

    He's right

He hired me to post good content here How am I doing?

Crap, wasn't suppose to tell anyone!!

Advertising is your best way to grow a forum. Advertise, advertise, advertise. Before advertising however, It's helpful to have some posts already in the forum. Not many people want to post in a dead forum.

I would say: Find a targeted niche and try to get experts to post.

    Good luck!

As I told you before you may want to change the design.. The forum template is very boring. Try adding in some graphics on the side and creating a section for coupons for Dell, HP, etc.
