    Chnage permissions on directadmin

    Hello,
    I when change permissions public_html folder, from 777 to 755.
    Don't allow and back to 777.
    What i do?

    Let me know how you are chainging the permission, from shell or file manager.

    Also can you paste the output of command from shell:
    ls -al filename

    If you are doing from shell then hope you are using command,

    # chmod 755 public_html

    Are you sure you are the correct the owner for public_html folder. Check the ownership first and then try to change using chmod command.
