    GNAX/Netdepot Review -Avoid at all costs

    Summary:
    I ordered a 5506 from Netdepot on the 10th of June and did not recieve it until the 22nd.

    I expected 24 hour setup as the site claimed to provide, so after a few days I got irritated I did not have the server.
    I went onto their support site and saw that the "Live Support" was aparently online, so I signed in to the live support and waited for someone to connect to the chat session, I waited an hour until giving up and putting in a normal support ticket.
    I never received a response to this support ticket so on the 18th I created another.
    On the 19th I called Netdepot but no one picked up the phone. The next day I finally got a response when after trying the live chat support again to no-avail, I see a link on the sales page for live chat for sales related enquiries.
    I explain my problems to the rep in this chat and she says that the appropriate people have been notified.
    I eventually get a response to my support tickets later in the day, and the server is finally set-up and operational the next evening.
    At this point they email me asking for photos of the back and front of my credit card threatening to cut off my server if I did not produce it within 3 days.
    That was the last straw, I just said **** It and didn't bother sending the photo, this company treats its customers as if they are worthless.

    I'm very surprised to hear that. Our experience is completely different and we have been there for a number of years. I'm very surprised that when you called you did not get anyone. Did you call during business hours for their billing/sales? Every time we call, there is someone there.

    wow - thats pretty crazy and very out of the ordinary. please send me the info on the order and the tickets you posted so I can look into this and see what happened.

    That's something you don't see/hear everyday w/ gnax. Jeff(sailor) will fix your issues.

    That surprises me too. I have/run a couple of servers there and haven't had any issues. Support has always been quick and friendly. It's why I have two servers there now instead of just one.

    Could someone with the correct tools delete this thread? I wrote this review out of frustration and Netdepot have rectified the situation, so I will be giving them a second chance as it was unfair of me to judge them so quickly with the problems being due to a bug that was out of their control.

    WHT doesn't delete threads.

    Some may ask what is the value in this thread? Well, it shows that someone had a problem and GNAX went out of there way to fix it. Worth keeping around
