Dell has a proprietary KVM over IP cabling method called SIP (Server Interface Pod)which essentially reduces cable bulk by condensing the number of cables typically needed for KVM to one. A 2160AS will have either a ps2/vga or usb/vga setup. You'll have to check this individually on your switch. Regardless, the opposite end of this cable will terminate with a female RJ-45 connector to which you can connect typical Cat 5 cable. You would then use Dell's "Port Expansion Module" which allows you to connect up to eight SIPs to a single port on a KVM switch.
