    If support is good half the hosting problems are solved...cost cutting cannot be done with increasing support waiting period...they could have told their clients what had actually happened rather than keeping them in dark

    This is exactly my point, Alex was pretty upfront about it. But Ben played Damage Control. It was everyone's fault but Hostnine. MY VPS is still unaccessible.

    Did they not allow you to download your own backups?

    OP was promised pure redundancy and did not have daily backups set in place. All of the redundancy they promised was a marketing ploy so when the OS corrupted it wiped all his information with it and he was left being blamed for the incident.
