For about 40 minutes now their website and my server have simply vanished. I've contacted Gigenet directly through their support email and I'm posting here to ask if anyone else has a server through this reseller which is also down.
I fear they have packed up and run/shut down the business without telling their customers. My primary concern at the moment is my data; does Gigenet wipe the data of unpaid servers immediately?
Well I've received a response from Gigenet, who say the reseller has disabled my server port and that they are not able to tell me anything more. They defer me to speak with the reseller - who is not contactable as their website (their sole form of contact) is down.
I've written a response to Gigenet explaining the situation again asking them what I can do with the reseller gone...does anyone else have any other suggestions? I didn't have any issues whatsoever with the reseller up until this point - it just seems like they've packed up and run off. I wouldn't be as concerned if their website weren't down, but it is, and Gigenet don't seem to want to address me further. What will happen now?
