It is not as simple as that and domaintools does not cover country code domains effectively.
Outside the US, most countries will have their hosting market split over their ccTLD and com/net/org/biz/info/mobi/etc. The main pair of extensions to watch are the ccTLDs and .com - the other gTLDs tend to decrease in domain registration volume and importance.
If you were to build a country's webhost market model based purely on com/net/org/biz/info then you may be missing 50% or more of the market.
Domain History Search and Webhoster Statistics.
Hoster Stats for over 7M hosters and over 467M domains.
Now with domain hosting history for new gTLDs.
webhosting.info I believe is a good place for information on web hosting providers - it's not 100% accurate but it's accurate enough to be useful.
Thank you all for your answers. I've already checked webhosting.info but the problem is that they only consider sites with .com .net and .org extensions, so they leave out all the local domains (.cl in Chile).
And here in Chile almost everybody use the local .cl domain, so webhosting.info results are not very accurate.
What i want to do is exactly the same that webhosting.info does but including the .cl domains.
