Jedito is absolutely right - if a host supports PHP5/MySQL5 shouldn't have any issues. I've not run across a host not supporting cURL in a *long long* time and you don't have to have Zend installed server-wide to be able to use it. It's like Pear, the host can have it installed or you can install it locally
I do believe most Shared Web Hosting companies come with all these features - most come default. The only thing you would really have to ask about is the Curl, which I know some companies don't use (not default)
