    * HELP!!: Backup all accounts at one time?

I own my own VPS. I've had it for about 3 months now. My friend has his own VPS company, and will be hosting me for cheaper. Anyway, when I switched to the VPS I had to transfer all the accounts 1 by 1, is there a way to backup all accounts on the server (home directory, accounts, ftp acc. subdomains, mysql..etc) at one time?

Just the thought of doing each account, one by one again makes me so sick.

I will have root access on both servers. Please help me!

    Thanks in advance,

    Are you running CPanel?

You can use the transfer accounts to transfer multiple accounts or setup the CPanel backup to run and that would back everything up. You can even set an FTP folder on the new server so they're sent over there.

    Yes, I'm running cPanel/WHM.
And I didn't think about that. I'll do that to transfer my accounts.

BUT; I'd still like to know how to do a backup of the accounts, just so I have it if anything ever happens. *Parys nothing ever happens.*

You can setup automated backups through Cpanel.

    Code:
    tar -czf /backup.tgz /etc/ /home/ /opt/ /srv/ /var/
Your Site looks nice, but I see basic technical skills missing...
