Boardwatch 4 sure! We though we were rock starts with our numbers in that rag. Hehe...picture a clear plastic 6 tier paper divider (like you find on any business desk) stacked with US robotic modems.
We called it the "modem rack". (snicker) ! I still have it sitting on my desk. Nostalgia for sure. We were in hog heaven when we got our first Ascend Max (remember Ascend before Lucent bought them?). It did 56K v.90 *and* ISDN.

So then, I get my first ISDN line at the house...64K X 2 lines...man, I thought I was flyin'. We wuz so ignernt back then.
This is the best signature in the world....Tribute!
(It is not the best signature in the world, no. This is just a tribute)

Yes good memory! In fact the kid who appeared on this one contacted us a few months ago looking for a copy. He said, I know it's been about 7 years since that video but I'm wonder if you still have it. He was pretty happy when I told him we did.

    I had lawmakers.com in 1996. If I remember correctly, it cost me $100. I still have worldzone.net from 1998.

on my last post, those are domains I registered with my own little two hands. not the oldest I could find.

we started out with "galacticom bbs". wow, those were the days. walking customers through SLIP connections...ugg. here, i'll mention this for the ((shiver)) factor..."Trumpet Winsock".
We started out using Renegade BBS, and were listed in Computer Shopper. We were listed as N.I.C.I.X. (Northern Illinois Computer Xchange) which was part of our phone number (xxx-xxN-ICIX)
