I'm currently hosting a blog that uses WordPress and Atahualpa. I notice that the page rendering time is about 0.3 to 0.4 seconds. I realize I can install caching modules, but is this an acceptable amount of time to render the page? The blog gets very few hits, maybe about 25-30 per day, and is on a VPS with very low usage. Just going by how the site "feels", the rendering time on the server is acceptable.
I'm wondering if there is some objective standard that others use to determine that more CPU or memory is needed on the server, or to use software type solutions such as a cache.
