iPhone 3.0 - Safari & Web site drop down menus (broken!)

In previous revisions of the iPhone browser application Safari one click on a drop down menu header was equivalent to a "mouse over" and would cause the drop down menu to appear. As of iPhone OS 3.0 when you touch a drop down menu header in Safari it immediately follows the link of the header making using any drop down menu impossible.

I'm trying to find other iPhone/iPod Touch users that are willing to post on the Apple forums about this so hopefully we can get Apple's attention and get the drop down menus fixed!

If you have a Twitter account you can spread the word and show your support by signing the Twitition on the topic: http://twitition.com/4mopc

Please - if you have an iPhone or iPod Touch and an iTunes account - post in this thread on the Apple forums concerning this issue! You can verify the issue by visiting a site that uses drop-down menus such as BestBuy.com - or if you have WHMCS you can verify this in Safari on iPhone 3.0 as well.

    Thanks!

Edit: Both Twitition and the Apple Forums are *very* busy and you will intermittently get a "File not found" error on the Apple forums and other issues with Twitition - do make sure to try back!

I've created a small video for YouTube to illustrate the issue:

Yeah, I've noticed this issue in WHMCS.

Do please make a post on the thread on the official Apple forums - we need to make sure this gets fixed.
