we have been trying to get some near to our budget providers within east coast or who are 30ms away from NY. for an application of streaming video who would be a good provider within choopa and uber, HE. Choopa appears to be a mix of tier1 with some private peering, Uber also a mix of tier1 but with FCP , am not exactly sure how solid their implementation is so as to get good performance in peak traffic hours. Most of our destination traffic goes to cable/dsl homes. Say a comcast subscriber at some state it does depend on where the traffic is handed over to comcast so that data goes through less congested network. Am sure comcast RR, they will have their own congestion problems resulting in buffering. HE does have much more peering than any of these however they do not peer with any of these providers directly. If any of you know a good provider for this type of traffic please suggest too. However let me know who is better in these three. Here is some info, say choopa traffic for comcast goes through tiscali and HE gblx all traces i did so far, not sure of uber
We have about 60+ servers @ Uberbandwidth. Great performance and service, I would not hesitate at all to recommend them. They are big enough to offer great service and prices, yet small enough that you get more personal service from them. Ask for Jonathan if you have any questions, he can answer any questions you would have.
