    What does this mean?

    Looks like you may have a corrupted journal with the EXT3 filing system or sectors may be corrupted on the hard drive. At any rate, you've got a pretty serious problem with EXT3.

    Are you running RAID? What kernel version? Which distribution?

    Do you have physical access to the server?

    Seems like a file system error... try recreating the journal filesystem.. Use the tune2fs command.
