    Transferring A Domain

    I'm trying to transfer a domain from mediatemple to godaddy. Godaddy gives me this error:

    You recently purchased a domain registrar transfer for:
    MYDOMAINHERE.com

    However, the current status of the above domain name(s) is:
    ok

    Domain names in this status cannot be transferred. Please
    contact your current registrar to resolve this issue.

    Once the status has been corrected, follow the steps below to
    retry the transfer.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    To retry the transfer:
    1. Go to the GoDaddy.com, Inc. home page and log in to
    your account.
    2. In the My Account section, select "Domain Transfers,"
    and then select the transfers you want to retry.
    3. Click "Retry Transfer" to resubmit the transfer requests.
    What do I do?
    "ok" status usually means transfer is allowed. It sems like an odd message from Godaddy. Contact support.
    Yes, you should get familiar with transfer regulations that loosing and gaining registrars have. Make sure that you have met all of them. In general, the transfer procedure takes between 1-2 hours - 8 days.
    Please check whether the domain is in grace period.
    Yes, if it is in grace period simply prolong a domain for another year and then reinitiate the transfer. All remaining time will be added to your domain with a gaining registrar, you will not lose it.
