Extremeware Summit 48si - ACLs QoS or...?

    Hello guys,

I am pretty new to the networking scene, I am seeking some advice. Right now I have a summit 48si that is running static routes to my ISP thru the WAN link on my cabinet.

I need to limit the outgoing traffic of certain hosts/servers to not exceed 15MB/s for any traffic outside my local network (esp: my switch).

How could I achieve this with my Summit 48si? Any sample commands would be helpful too.

You can use the ACL/Rate limiting to set the max throughput per port. You can configure this via the web interface, as for the CLI, I believe its "create rate-limit" however there are a lot of additional options you will need to append, I would check your user manual for the exact syntax.
