    design / programming

I am happy with myself about this site. Not so much with layout as with the admin interface.

Take a look at "Web Designer" in there.

Notice that almost all product pages are loaded from a few difererent remote sites that we do not control. And client needs minimal knowledge to manage it all.

My question is simple: How much would you charge for this?

Btw, the site will be there only for couple days and then it will be moved.

Very nice... could be alittle more crisp to present a more professional image though.

    Thanks.

I posted this to show off functionality rather then looks. I hate flash intro myself and can see where the looks could use improvement.

    Thumbs up

Site looks great but the Flash intro has to go. It's used too often these days and a distraction for most commercial sites. Flash is a wonderful tool if used in moderation.

Again, This was posted to get some feedback on the admin intrface usability and features (specialy Web Designer part). I hate that flash. Client insisted in having it there. We found a compromise in showing it only once every two weeks to any paricular visitor.

Hey Sasha I know the feeling, I have clients that demand intricate Flash intros some lasting nearly thirty seconds. Despite my best efforts they insist on having it for reasons unknown. Perhaps they're memorized by Flash generated graphical content regardless of the distraction. All I know it certainly raises production costs that could be better spent on marketing.

Actually, I kind of liked this flash.......You kept it short, and it didn't drag on like a ton of others do. Good job over all.

The "Web designer" part of the admin interface is very nice. Is it a commercial solution or is it custom coded?? I have been looking for something like that for a while.

It is custom. Next part i'll be working on (not for this client) is giving them more control over the page layout and not just page elements, ability to create new pages and interface to build custom tags. This seems that it could be popular with clients that have in-house IT people and do not like paying maitenance fees and, more important, helps me to avoid looking at the same project again.
