RackSolid/Timmy

Ok.. When I was speaking to "RackSolid" over AIM, I had asked him if he had any sort of relation to "Tim".. I made sure he knew who I was talking about, and he told me he had nothing to do with the guy.

Anyhow.. I placed an order for a dedicated Server thru them.. I had waited for the day I was promissed it would be here.. but it wasn't.. then was promised another date, waited till then and nope.. promised again, then no.. so I then asked for a refund on both startup and monthly charges. Here is the convo I had with him.

RackSolid and blws anth

I have not recieved the refunds and this was a few days ago (Around 3 now).

A) What should I do? He is never on AIM and hell, I can't sue a 12 year old or whatever the hell he is.

B) Am I being fair on asking for a refund here?

Err... Nup, live in Australia - May as well go jump in the pond and have a swim. They simply WILL NOT do a chargeback for me as.. well, they wont.

Our banks are much more strict about stuff like that. They are aware of how some people tend to enjoy buying something, actually getting it then doing a chargeback.

I think host charge wont let them issue the refund until the funds clear (15th) so he is right on that point, BUT he could have been a lot nicer about the whole thing, seems like they really dont like giving anything back

Why would you lease a server for your business without reading the providers terms of service or even consider doing business with a kid ?

I bet he can't issue a refund until the 15th because he does not have enough money in his account to do it until then.

Thats what i was going to say, if there was funds there he could do refund, if not - he has to wait for your funds to clear before he can release them for a refund..

His balance is empty and he has providers to pay :/

I try to stay calm as possible in any situation

I had asked him of his age, and if he had anything to do with Tim in previous occasions. I was told no.

I had also asked about Terms and Conditions/Policies and he said they were being made and would be mailed (email) to me.

Apparently these servers were going to be placed in 56marietta, yes.
