Did the service they provide get a face lift as well? God, I hope so. They was my very first provider back in 03'.... and boy..never could understand the techs, and I had to call in frequently..

Not bad.
Never used them before, so can't comment on their level of service though.

I pulled up the old design on Archive.org, I definitely think it's an improvement in design.

It's a decent looking design, but doesn't stand out from the crowd if you ask me. Hosting company pages are always a bit.. cookie cutter, and even when they spend a good amount of money on a quality design don't tend to differ an awful lot. I'm not trying to put it down at all, as the designer has done a good job, but in such a competitive industry it's hard to remember which host is which!
Like there was a thread about 'cool' host names, maybe we should have one about designs that really stand head and shoulders above the competition.

Exactly... It looks like any other regular middle size host...
Actually i do not like those faces on the home pages... and the comments of staff by staff... Just looks a lil... not trusty if you know what i mean.
Well anyway, don't get me wrong.
The Design is ok.

Ipower is not what I would call "middle size" host.
As for their website design, the old one, was derived quite obviously from ipowerweb.com's 2001 site ( http://web.archive.org/web/200112021...ipowerweb.com/), with little real change. Given the time span, it cannot be a good thing. Sites are not buildings.
