Dell Poweredge 2650
Three 36gig drives
1 Xeon 2.2ghz cpu
We just got notice from our Dell rep that the Xeon motherboards on the Poweredge 2650 are bad. This means anyone who bought one in the last month will need to ship it back. They are recalling them for 1 month. Bummer.
Clock -> I am initially going to use it for a few clients I have for some .NET projects. In time I am going to add a client here and there for profit. When I feel qualified I will add another server (if needed) and open it up to the world.
Originally posted by WonderMonkey Yes I got it from Dell and I am going to co-locate. This is my first attempt at this. I am a developer by trade and will fumble around for a bit until I find me feet in this arena.

Right now at www.DaytonDigital.net . It is a local place that people speak of favorably. If it does not work out then I will look elsewhere. I'm not sure if I can get over not being able to put my hands physically on the box.
They have been around for a while (in internet years) and the reason I went with them was a few personal testimonials in their behalf. Though rest assured I won't hesitate to go elsewhere if they show they won't give a level of support that I am paying for. I see no indication of this though and the owner is actually bending over backwards to help me out and showing this newbie how this and that is done.
