Looking for a good XEON dedicated server 100% uptime
Hello,
I am currently running a small vbulletin forums and looking for a new managed dedicated server, can any1 suggesting a good dedicated server with 100% Uptime and cheap hardware configuration. My buget is $150~$200 a month. I don't need lot of BW, here's my basic specs:
Dual-XEON or Quadcore CPU
2GB~4GB RAM
250 Sata2 or 160GB SAS HDD
100mbits (1Gb port optional) and i only need 1000GB BW, i dont need alot of bandwidth but i need a fast server speed.
Linux OS
Apache + mysql (included)
cpanel/whm
US datacenter
I also need a support for data mirror from my existing server to new server. Any good deal DELL server? I appreciate any suggestion!

Is there any reason you need a Dell?

Yes, there are many brands that are as stable and performant. Your budget is definitely adequate. Also, what do you mean by mirror server? Is it some kind of failover?

He just needs help in transfering over his data to the new server (= mirror).
@ TS:
First of all a 100% uptime is impossible to guarantee without a setup of more than 1 server. None can guarantee that a powersupply, processor, harddisk, memory, motherboard etc fails. Especially not with what you want.
You don't have raid, only a single server & with those spec requirements also not enough for 2 of those.
Another thing you may want to keep in mind is that the difference between a Dual Xeon and a Quad Core is usually very big.
Servers tagged as "Dual Xeon" are usually old single core processors which are running at like 20% of the power of a modern Quad Core processor. So keep that in mind when looking for a server.
a 100% uptime guarantee with your budget is just impossible I'm afraid.

You're looking at a provider with migration assistance. Most providers help out with transferring the content and configuration. But from reading your requirements, you might need to get complete server management just to be on the safe side.

100% network uptime is possible but not with server itself because you might sometimes experience software problem, services problem or even a hardware problem... so, you need to make sure you are ready for this.
