Text the word "help" to the five-digit U.S. short code CHASE (24273). We will send you a help message in a minute or so. Or, visit http://www.Chase.com/mobile to get an in-depth look at how to use the service.

short codes are a whole world unto themselves. the requirements for obtaining short code service can be strict and expensive. the base amount can be in the $nnnn range per month.

Sending CSC (Four Digit, Five Digit, or Six Digit) Texts Online

I'm not sure how to do what you're looking for, but here's a site that allows you to send to those codes. Most only allow full 10 digit numbers, but this one routes them through their GSM modem, if it's CSC.

www(dot)fivedigittext(dot)com (would not let me post the URL)

R u trying to run some sort of service ?? Then u have to go thru the carrier and get a code from them. And then setup an SMS server which will deal with the text msg and u can do whatever u want. Cause forwarding text to a server its a shared cost by ur provider and u, if u r setting up a cost of 10 cents per text u will get 5 and ur carrier will get 5 cents. Huge business ;-)
