Looking for Canadian hosting allowing adult sites
Hello there,
I am looking for a Canadian host who necessarily have their servers in Canada who offer dedicated hosting and who hosts adult sites. I don't have anything particular specifications as of now since my sites are overall small (1k/day). Thank you!

A majority of hosts will allow you to host adult content as long as it is legal. I would recommend taking a look at http://caratnetworks.com/.

Why do the servers have to be in Canada?

I am also wonder this as well, as the connections between the U.S and Canada are so strong, that for web hosting, you should never even be able to tell the difference

Some laws regarding pornography/adult content are more lax in Canada vs the US.

I'd recommend checking out netelligent.ca
They have great network and speeds along with superb customer service/support. I'm not sure if they allow adult content, but it is definately worth contacting them to find out. Ask for Max, he is great.

Thank you for your suggestions. I will check them out.
The contents are legal by all means. Are there any other Canadian hosts?

Actually, you are both right and wrong.
The laws are virtually identical in CA and the US, but the enforcement is altogether different. For example, I had a customer who was arrested and tried three different times in Canada for obscenity but it was because his sites were based on very hard S&M and each time he was found NOT GUILTY on all counts. Of course, his severs were always in the US, but he was a Canadian Citizen. This is why most people believe that it does not matter where the servers reside, but where the person that produces the content resides. Always know that the Government will always follow the money so the location of the servers means very little in the grand scheme of things.

Did you find a Canadian provider ???
The laws in Canada and the US are pretty much the same.
I would consider a small vps plan to start and work with your provider as your business grows.

Exactly what I meant A lot of laws in Canada are lax in terms of punishment/enforcement that would otherwise land you for prison for a couple decades in the US. I swear there's a province up there that allows p2p/illegally obtained music as some tax essentially pays for it.
