Ubiquity Servers Review - Excellent Service, Great Network!

I've been with working with Ubiquity Servers for about three months now. So far everything has been great. Here is what I have found so far (I am colocating my server with them):

Setup
My server was set up within hour of it arriving at the datacenter. It didn't ping initially and so I asked the tech who racked the server about this. She proactively asked me if I wanted them to console in and determine what the problem was. She fixed the network linux network setup for my server(which i botched) and I was online within minutes.

Network
I spend most of my time in the Carribbean, so finding a provider that works well for both myself and my visitors (US based) isn't necessarily easy. My server is colocated in Ubiquity's Chicago facility and my latency is great, both from the Carribean and from the NYC metro area (where I spend the rest of my time.) My site vistors report my site to be loading quickly, even during peak loads. I believe they use a blend of providers.

Support
I've only needed to use the support once and that was with my initial server configuration. The service was quick to respond and polite. They were knowledgeable, but able to communicate what they were talking about without talking down to me. At one point I needed to speak to a specific tech. The tech wasn't available to take my call, but she promptly returned my call. A+. It's nice to see that some companies still care about customer service.

Security
When I contacted Ubiquity over the phone, the first thing they did was make sure that they identified me as the account holder. The simple practice of requiring a brief security check when I phoned let me know my identity was safe and that someone else couldn't call in pretending to me.

Overall Experience
My overall experience with Ubiquity has been great. I received prompt, truthful answers from their sales department (not to mention a great deal for the network which they provide). The setup was quick and their support has been polite and professional.

Nice to know. Keep us posted!

Judging from the locations listed on their site, they are in some nice facilities. I know the facilities in Dallas and LA are very nice!

Cheers,

Yes, we use BGP'd Mzima and XO and in our Chicago location we also have AboveNet in the mix.
