Amazon Cloud with Xen?

Hello,
I am just wondering if anyone has tried to set up a VPS Environment on the Amazon Cloud?

I have no experience with it but my guess is that it would not work. Especially if you consider the access speed and some of the underlying work that hypervm/xen/openvz do with modifying files/permissions/partitions. Certainly post back if you find anything to the contrary, I'd be very interested to find out also!

I think he meant that he has tested it on VPS.net, not sure though.

sorry - yes, we've successfully setup openVZ on the VPS.NET XEN based cloud system. After a bit of messing about it work's just fine.

It works after-a-fashion because of XenServer's kernel separation but the performance hit is astounding for the "end" VPS - it's like moving back to a 286 PC ...
