Have you watched Star Trek yet?
Just watched it a few hours ago.. The movie was AWESOME!!!
The enterprise crew was cool and funny, pretty smart scenes and amazing battles.
Its really aimed for even non-"trek" fans..
Check it out. I want to share a lot of great scenes, but that would be a big spoiler. 
I personally found it way better than X-men.

I`m going to see it tonight. I used to love the the original series as a kid and also TNG. Once Deep Space 9 came out I kind of lost interest, felt like the Star Trek franchise was becoming worn out and desperately stale.
It needed someone like JJ Abrams to freshen up Star Trek, I`m sure Gene Roddenbery would love this fresh new look.
The special effects look awesome and the movie is getting some rave reviews too. I can`t wait until tonight!

I am not a Trekkie fan but love watching Star Trek shows and movies. This one must be good. It has Sylar in it, the evil Heroes villain! ( Zachary Quinto)... but I don't think he'll be ripping any heads open as Spok, just a few mind melds here and there. 
I am looking forward to seeing this one.

I was hoping someone would open a thread about it
I watched the movie yesterday and I'm still shaking. It was AWESOME. I'm a Trek fan (all series and movies, twice), and this one was by far the best.
J.J. Abrams made a very bold move about certain planets  If I was a producer, I wouldn't have the confidence to greenlight it. But that move definitely brough some new excitement.
If you ever liked a single Trek movie or episode, you have to see this film as soon as possible.
As 90% of the fans, I'm going to watch it again on Monday.

They copied ALREADY ESTABLISHED CHARACTERS which is stupid.... IF THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE BEFORE THE MAIN SERIES,IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT PEOPLE!! (Not idiots pretending to be the original cast)
Im not interested in seeing it! (Garbage like most stuff made today)
