how does this vps compare?

Ok so i just upgraded my vps

Processor #1 Vendor: AuthenticAMD
Processor #1 Name: Quad-Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 2350
Processor #1 speed: 1994.998 MHz
Processor #1 cache size: 512 KB

Processor #2 Vendor: AuthenticAMD
Processor #2 Name: Quad-Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 2350
Processor #2 speed: 1994.998 MHz
Processor #2 cache size: 512 KB

with 1 gb of memory on xen platform
for 100$
how would this compare to other vps
also would a quad core dedicated server be stronger then this vps? the vps has 8 cores so ?

Depends on the number of VPS containers running on the server. There is no doubt that a Quad core dedicated server would give you more room for growth compared to a VPS container but it also limits you on what you can do in the long term.

This vps has 2 quad cores so wouldn't a dedicated server not be such an improvement?

because it is xen i am the only one using those 2 cpu's

That's not true. You're sharing them.

Xen shares the CPUs (depending on configuration) just like any other virtualization setup. It's highly doubtful that those CPUs have been reserved just for your account at that price point.

Are those the only processors you see appearing? If so, it looks like you're limited to 2 out of the 8 cores on the system...

A quad core dedicated server would almost certainly be 'stronger', at least in terms of CPU.
