Looking for a web host with mysql 5.1 and variable event_scheduling turned on

I'm developing a web application where I need to do frequent updates/inserts dynamically for a Meetings scheduling module of my application, are there any hosts that have mysql 5.1 and event_scheduling turned on? I'm currently with hostgator but they won't turn this variable on for me.

Are you looking for shared hosting or is a vps ok as well? I'd suggest trying the "FIND A HOST" option and see if any hosts can cater this to you but it definitely shouldn't be an issue with your own server or vps.

    Good luck
