What control panel do the use?


I tried contacting the live support from fatcow, and he was no help. It was probably just the guy i had but thats not the point. I think i am going to go with them but what control panel do they use?

The guy would not tell me anything about it

As far as I know, Fatcow uses vDeck for a control panel.

nope they use a custom made control panel easy for begginners also. its like vdeck but lest bugs * just what i think may not be true*

runs a bit faster also. when its a vdeck clone but I think they did it to save money. thats what i was told by staff * custom control panel part*

Yup, it's a custom panel. I do agree it does look a tad like vdeck though. IMO, it doesn't seem that bad

i have been using startlogic vdeck and cpanel. will i be just fine with that??

Fatcow is owned by Endurance International. And as far as I know, all companies owned by Endurance International use vDeck. Google "Fatcow vDeck" and see what shows up.

yes but i found fat cow for $3.50 a month so unless someone can find me a trusted company for cheaper, i will stick with them.

I guess it depends what you find important in a host.

I prefer cpanel because it's an industry standard, you know scripts and software are going to easily support cpanel where it could be a question with other panels.

I do agree with you and to add to that, with Fantastico in CPanel, installing forums, wordpress and alot of other in-built softwares are made easier.
