Hello,
We are offering
$200 to the winner of this logo contest. We expect submissions to be emailed in with the logo attached or a link to view the logo.
Here are the requirements, followed by a design brief from the Executive Director of the organization:
-300 DPI / Vector (Needs to be scalable for use on a website, and for use on tradeshow exhibits and booths (Print-worthy).
-This logo needs to be used in many capacities, like website(s), brochures, flyers, t-shirts, etc...
Here is the design brief:
Research and development is nearly complete other than production issues. We have approval of management on the plan and the look, feel, target markets, products, and future development, as well as the web/Moodle LMS vehicles. The feedback on the feel, style, and look of the video and direction of AOF and the FreedomProject is very positive, and early testing has been consistently well received by those target populations.
The compiled input of our ‘committee’ meetings have determined that we are going with the project name “FreedomProject.” It should be consistent in the logo, web, branding, and printed/live promotional uses at least, a cap F and cap P, with no space between words. This is the initial style/composition of the trademark application, and is in keeping with our (purchased) url, FreedomProject.com To provide for consistent design planning, we want a font and look and colors/design/layout that follows those criteria, and does a good job of connecting as well as appealing to the target audience, parents and educators with Christian conservative worldviews, and youth, primarily jr. high/ high school in that market segment and similar segments.
Our target audience is primarily: Home schoolers, church members and Christians / cultural conservatives/ conservative political activists / private schoolers/ political conservatives, gun owners, entrepreneurs, private business owners, and similar cross sections.
What we design has to fit the web environment, but we must look at efforts like the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, Home School Legal Defense Association, The Truth Project/Focus on the Family, the Ron Paul and Constitution Party organizations and materials, and fit the style/appeal into the web environment with a current enough look consistent with a contemporary foundation holding those worldview/position/cultural values.
$200 to the selected winner.
Deadline is Monday, April 13th, 2009.
