Gigenet Proxyshield cost
Does anyone here use Gigenet Proxyshield that protects your server from DDOS attacks? They don't list the price on their website here:
http://www.gigenet.com/hosting-solut...rotection.html
So i'm guessing it's probably expensive. Anyone know how much it costs?
Also, on their order form it asks you for an "ATTACK SIZE". What does this mean and what would you write?

Ryan,
I need more information from you. Please e-mail me the type of attack you're receiving, its size (in Mb/s), frequency of attacks, and the website(s) being targeted.
Thanks,
bsh

my website is not live yet. i was just wondering what an approximate price would be.
Say my server got a ddos Flood attack of 168Mbps and it happened 24/7, what would proxyshield cost per month?

No it is not cheap but it works great and pricing is dependent on what is going on. If you are serious about mitigating the attack check them out.

The cost varies based on the type of attack and the number of packets.

can someone explain me clearly what so special is the Proxyshield compare to other proxy mitigation services like Staminus, Black Lotus, Awknet?
I have been researched for it but until now i could not getting clear information about what is Proxyshield do compare like others. On my personal review it was just doing the same thing like other company or it just purposely for marketing wise?
I'd like to get both comments from Gigenet buddies (i know they're several highest level Gigenet persons getting here), some comments from either current or past clients, and some from expertise.
Really thankful for your comments about this.

Johnie,
The best thing to do is contact us directly. We will be able to provide more information to you about our product, scalability, pricing, etc. WHT, of course, can be used to receive input from current or existing customers and what not.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions via email at brandon.hale@gigenet.com.
Thanks,
bsh

@Johnie: How each company mitigates attacks - seems to be 'secret-sauce' (mix if you will) of solutions that work for them. Some use a wide variety of equipment, some with their own mix of home-grown solutions using say pack-filtering/IP-tables, etc. Some offer portalized access to the attack, others don't - what most of them will provide a near surety of is that within the attack band, your website will function.
Like Brandon suggested, contact them directly to get a better idea.
