I am requesting information on how to process a CC invoice.

I have a paypal business account, merchant account. I go through WHMCS, click accept payment, but nothing happens. Then to view the full CC details, it requests some sort of hash, as to which hash? Not sure.

So, in short.

How do I obtain, or process the information needed to obtain the funds of said client who is requesting a product?

The hash is required to view the CC Details, once you have the CC details you can use your preffered merchant/gateway to process the payment.

To obtain the hash you need to ftp into your site, go to your WHMCS directory and i think the hash is inside the configuration.php file... Not sure exactly but it tells you where it is on the website(sorry cant link to anything, not enough posts!)

The encryption hash is in fact in your configuration.php file in the root directory of your WHMCS installation. It is very obvious to spot in that file.

Okay, got the hash. Now, with said hash, what about processing the CC? I've sent WHMCS a support ticket, no response in over 3 hours (very important to get this resolved).

Is the only way to obtain and charge the card info via Paypal?

Yeh if you want to do offline processing you just take the CC data from whmcs and put it into your merchant account system. Unless you setup the merchant gateway in whmcs i don't think it will necessarily do anything when you hit recieve payment...

Where exactly can i find this harsh??? because i intend on using offline processing also with the "new" wireless merchant terminal for me to simply enter the cc number when a order is made. My country does not have any laws created for the online processing of credit cards as yet and as such, i cant use pay pal and other mediums to do this for me without paying a great price!!
