Virtuozzo Vs OpenVZ/HyperVM

Hi All,
As a provider of Virtual Private Servers im looking at ways to expand our business, I love the fact that we can offer our clients such a good service with the low price we presently charge but as a "Client" or "Potential Client" what would your views be on Virtuozzo?

Is it worth our business cutting our already low profits and going with Virtuozzo as our VPS Control Panel?

This is something we are very interested in doing and we feel it would be a big jump from the very low-end budget HyperVM/OpenVZ Approach.

Your Views on the Virtuozzo Vs HvM/OvZ would be very helpfull.

Would you rather buy a low priced Virtozzo VPS or an even lower priced HyperVM powered VPS? Im quite lost as to wether the financial investment would be worth it, I don't see how it wouldnt be as HyperVM is very buggy and really doesnt give a full sense of security in my personal opinion.

Virtuozzo is definitely geared toward the hosting market. The front-end makes the VM management easy for the end-users. It also depends on who you're catering to, are you going for the super techies or the end-users that aren't familiar with VM technologies?

Why do you observe only this virtualization systems? Take a look, like I use. There are some another software. And what operating systems are you going to propose.. linux, windows, freebsd?

Talking Virtuozzo

I'm another Virtuozzo advocate! It is much more reliable, efficient, guaranted in comparison with Xen, HyperVM, OpenVZ.

I wouldn't pay more for virtuozzo, as long as the control panel has a reboot button & console access, I don't really care what control panel the host uses.

OpenVZ is the vps "kernel" system and HyperVM is the control panel for OVZ.

Anyways, +1 for Virtuozzo. It's much better, I don't get any errors. Plus, HyperVM was hacked the other day. VZ never gets hacked. It's like comparing "Free Hosting" to "Cloud Hosting"; and it all goes back to the old saying:

"You get what you pay for!" .

Low-budget companies use (generally) HyperVM/OVZ; but if you look at the top providers for VPS (SolarVPS, WiredTree, LiquidWeb, etc.) they all use Virtuozzo.

No, OpenVZ is a basic Linux's virtualization system, HyperVM, Parallels Virtuozzo Containers, VDSmanager use this system with it's own additions for Linux OS VPS.

I can't get a clear view on Virtouzzo's prices, so for now I am using HyperVM and OpenVZ. Working great so far.

If you can't get price quick it means a hidden marketing tools to get more money from a customer. They may tell you the price without an advanced GUI for example. Be carefully))

HyperVM is just a front end for managing OpenVZ, there are actually many ways to manage OpenVZ and HyperVM can also manage Xen

Im getting very tired very fast of the extremely "noobish" interface that HyperVM provides, it errors at almost every opperunity and the support from lxlabs is very slow also, Alot of our customers are very inexperienced admins who usually have problems using the hypervm control panel. From previous experience i know how good the Virtuozzo end-user interface is in comparison.

Does anybody know the cheapest provider of the licenses? i understand that most of them are internal only licenses so id be interested in looking into other facilities.
