Setting up nameservers via ssh


Hi,

I'm not sure if i'm posting this in the right forum but here we go.

I need my nameservers setup via ssh as i dont have a control panel installed as i've installed layeredpanel, but i'm not sure how to do it and i need some help setting them up.

Please can someone help me.

sure, you have a directory /var/named where your zone files live, you have an /etc/named.conf that is your bind configuration file.
You REALLY need to go read about bind and how to configure, it doesn't sound like you have setup bind before. Basically, named.conf is where you name what zone to load, and where the zone file is found.
