    Need Help Please

    Hello,

I need help with login on Windows XP (Home).

I had my computer setup by a friend, and when the login screen comes up it asks to login as that user. It asks for the password, yet i don't know the password. Therefore i'm unable to login. Anyone have any ideas as to bypass or get past the login scree.

My friend says he swears he didn't setup a password but it asks for still asks for one. (Gives hint of "bravo")

Thanks in advance for all help.

Try your friend's name perhaps? Or your own? Or simply just call him and ask for the password.

I called my friend who's PC I bought, and he said to leave it blank and it worked.
    When I work on others PC's, I use "123456"
    I'd just call though.

    UH-Matt's suggestion should work.

Log in as administrator should all else fail.
