Established web hosting company for sale
This is a serious post so please be serious in your replies.
Established web hosting company for sale.
Of course I cant reveal the name right now for obvious reasons.
This company has been in business for 4 years now and has around 2300 clients.
New clients average between 45 - 60 per month. Nice pace!
Also, most of our clients are annual and pay 119.40 per year.
We also have clients paying monthly, quarterly and semi annually. These accounts make more money because the monthly rate is higher.
This company also make $2500.00 in Domain registrations per month.
This domain is positioned nicely in the Major Search engines.
We also get a ton of referrals.
We are just selling the domain names pointing to this site along with all the clients.
Currently, this business brings in $32,000 per month. including domain name registration.
All but 50 clients pay by credit card.
There are about 5 dedicated servers being leased as well
These sites are currently being hosted on 4 servers in exception to our dedicated servers, however the servers are leased and have proprietary control panels.
Should you choose to keep leasing the servers including the dedicated servers, you monthly fees for the leased servers are around 2500.00 per month for all 9 servers.
Right now the company is doing about 32,000 per month but in December - January, it will increase because of the anniversary of the business. We started in these months 4 years ago. So what this means is there will be the yearly renewals again which usually increases the business by 6-7 thousand a month.
So you really could be looking at about 37-40 thousand per month by January of 2003
Company has great reputation. You won't find one derogatory thing in this forum about our company.
We host some major celebrity sites as well.
All our sites are small business web sites. Our servers Load Average is 0.15 with 650 sites on each server. They hardly use any bandwidth.
Why are we thinking about selling? Just getting tired of it and would like to try more traditional business off the net.
This Company will bring in a lot of revenue for a long long time so please be serious when making an offer.
Please email hostingco4sale@yahoo.com
Thank you, Ken

Yes, be careful buying clients... ask a lot of questions.
I guess he did not like my questions either, as no reply after his initial answer.Providing YOUR Internet Action!

Be careful
There are a lot of scams on Ebay and other parts of the web including forum boards. They will take your money promise you the world and you will never hear from them again.
Anyway.. This guy either had someone contact him offline or it is a crock.
happy hunting...

I sent an email two days ago and haven't heard anything yet either. Maybe he's just trolling for email addresses.

There has been a handful of these lately; they start a sales pitch, but never come back and confirm anything. Very irritating.

Have you guys never heard of the saying "too good to be true"? Never heard of Nigerian scams? This guy is one of them ... selling dreams.
Even Vortech got taken by it, ready to part with his cash to put his hands on an imaginary ~0.5 million dollar yearly fortune!
It's this kind of naivety that these vultures rely on!

When there is an offer like this, you start asking questions and before you part with your money you have seen it all, customers names, financial records etc. If they are not willing to give you that information ... you don't buy.

Mistral1...
Has it ever occured to you that a legitimate smaller company may very well put their company up for sale on these boards. Not everyone is trying to rip you off.
I agree that this deal may very well be bogus, but why in the heck would you assume that everyone here that wanted more info is naive. Why is asking for more info naive??? Do you suggest that they should buy a company without asking for more info???
I fail to see your logic here in telling us that everyone is naive that wants more info and that they should know that this is a scam. It took Vortech no more time to ask some simple questions in a post than it took you to write your silly post. You also may want to show me how Vortech asking questions qualifies as getting "taken".
Did Vortech send any money? Do you have any info that we don't? Oh right, vortech asked some questions so yeah I guess by your standards they were naive and got "taken".Lowest priced electronics and game systems on the web. PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, iPhone, and more.
