    Designer needed for template design

    Hi,

I'm looking for somebody to design a template for my free hosting site. The site is located at www.section5.net. I have recently completely redesigned it, but after seeing some of the templates about, I've decided it just isn't what I'm looking for. There seem to be plenty of people looking for design work, so I thought I'd throw it to the masses.

I'm looking for a clean template, including layered psd and html page (so fully sliced and diced). Colours I would most like to see used (you of course are under no obligation to use them) are blues, greys, white, oranges and silver. Rollover images for navigation are appreciated. There should be about 8 or 9 navlinks, depending on the page layout. The site should be viewable in 800x600 and 1024x768. Also should work in IE and Netscape.

Some examples of recent templates I like:

http://www.viio.net/files/leetv2.jpg (really like the colours and page layout).
http://www.section5.net/navigation.gif (taken from a design at yaxay.com purely as an example. Like the navbar with the silver background).
http://www.section5.net/bluesandbox.gif (also taken from yaxay, not much about this one I don't like, except maybe the orangy colour could be slightly stronger).
http://unitedhosting.co.uk/beta/ (also really like this one. A similar page layout would be ideal. Not too fond of the greenish shades)

Price: $80 or under. A 50% deposit is available should it be required (will only be offered to people with a portifolio to show). Payment will be via Paypal or credit card.

Copyright on the page would read something like:

Site designed by ... for section5.net, all rights reserved

Of course this is only if you desire to be mentioned.

This is not a competition, I'm merely looking to hear from designers that are confident they can produce a template at the same level as the ones listed above that fit my requirements. Please reply here or PM me with a link to your portifolio (if you have one) and the approximate price.

    Regards.

What modifications do you suggest I make to it? Put banners as flash or static, more stuff what?

Tell me that I can start working on it.

Well. let's see. The plans section on the left hand side would be quite useless to me.

Navigation would have to be changed (the idea using the big letters is original, but I doubt it would work in my case).

I find the moving ball in the computer screen gets irritating after a while.

It generally doesn't have the feel I'm looking for I'm affraid, but it is a nice template and somebody is bound to buy it for a fair price.

i take it you would really like something to match the ravio VB skin of orange Grey and white? so you dont have to reskin your vb after getting one of them pricy ravio skins. so i would take it you prefer a top nav over a left side nav? just trying to get a idea..

I'm not too worried about matching the design with the vbulletin skin as I will be implementing some more skins shortly for my users to choose from.
